OMG!

I was able to do another assignment for The New York Times!

I spent three days in the Western/Southern part of Switzerland where I met some very nice people – a group of crazy Italian pilgrims, helpful Lausanne business boys and singing monks! (They really did sing a lot, and beautifully.)

The Italians and I took some pictures by the Swiss/Italian border (with two different backgrounds), conversed in an eclectic mix of english/french/italian/german, frantically  checked our cell phones for Eurocup results, said good-bye with three cheek kisses and assurances to visit soon again and drink Italian espressi together. That’s how awesome Europe is!

Photos by Davide Brunori who, on his blog, calls me “Elizabeth la freelance”. Put that on a business card!
