Although I’m not a big fan of dogs (I’m more of a cat person) it was so interesting to see the dogs and kids interact together: The kids were like lambs, quiet and attentive, trying not to disturb the dogs or make them nervous. The dogs were most drawn to the kids who were introspective and kept sitting next to them. One student said that her grades had become a lot better because of special coaching lessons that are accompanied by the dog – it’s much easier for her to learn and concentrate that way. Maybe we need a dog in every school?
