Due to some weather and travel issues I wasn’t able to go up to Steinwurf Alp this summer as often as I had originally planned. Also, I came back sort of discouraged last time I photographed there because of the annoying mix of cameras I had. Maybe all this wasn’t so bad, though, because when I did finally go up again for our Swiss national holiday, August 1st, everything just kinda fell in place – I was even lucky enough to witness the moving of cows from a neighborhood alp up to the mountain pass. The pictures I took this time make me happy.
